Biography

Barese, 48 years old, lives between Rome and Milan. She has a classical high school diploma and studied anthropology (graduating with honors in History of Folk Traditions at La Sapienza), then realized that reporting on contemporaries would be more interesting and ended up becoming a journalist. From January 2025, she collaborates with Marie Claire, a monthly magazine where she also writes the current affairs column Appunto and hosts the in-depth program Amici e Nemici on Radio 24 with Daniele Bellasio; also in 2025, she will be back in bookstores with a book for Piemme written with Luca Telese. She has been involved for a long time, in various forms, in the campaign for legal euthanasia and living wills of the” Luca Coscioni Association, collaborates with Emergency, and supports Amnesty.
