Biography

Andrea Brandolini is Deputy Head of the Department of Economics and Statistics at the Bank of Italy. He focuses on Italian and European economics, particularly on labor, inequality, poverty, and well-being measurement. For his studies on inequality, he received the Aldi Hagennars LIS Memorial Award in 1995 and the Luigi Tartufari International Prize in 2017 from the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.
