Professor of Public Finance at Bocconi University in Milan, where she also directs the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality and the Master of Science in Politics and Policy. She is a member of the Board of Management of the International Institute of Public Finance and the Editorial Board of ‘European Journal of Political Economy’, ‘International Tax and Public Finance’, and ‘CESifo Economic Studies’.
She graduated with honors in Economic and Social Sciences from Bocconi University in Milan and obtained her PhD in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Her research focuses on gender economics, policies to promote female employment and empowerment, and public economics. She is active in national and international debates on gender equality and female empowerment.
